Light Up the Night Paddle Tours

(Not available June-mid September)
$65/ Person

Light Up The Night Paddle

Light up and paddle out and see what’s under the water in a whole new light! Have you ever been to an aquarium and stood in awe at all the creatures great and small and thought to yourself how much you wish you could be inside that aquarium? Well this tour will take you there… It’s like floating across the top of a huge saltwater aquarium and you will see magical things that are just impossible to see during the day! Your paddle board or kayak will be lighted from underneath while you float above in the dark, giving you a whole new perspective and ability to see sea creatures in a way you’ve never seen them before. We will float in shallow water and across grass flats and sandbars revealing starfish, live shells, sponges, and tons of fish species. This is an unequaled experience on the water and seats are limited and fill up quickly each week.

Things you should know:
– All Inclusive – Price includes rental of paddleboard per person, all equipment needed, and 1.5 hour guided tour.
– This tour is best done on a paddleboard but don’t worry about learning to stand… you will be sitting the entire trip anyway. Visibility is best in very shallow water and the closer you are to the water the more you can see. So you want to be sitting down, close to the water. Boards work better than kayaks because with kayaks you have to lean over the edge of the boat to see the lighted area, causing it to be unstable. So unless you have a health concern or back problem and need the support of a full seat, you will be using a paddleboard and will be sitting on top paddling it like a kayak.
– Must be able to swim.
– Please bring your own bug spray…you will need it in the warmer months!
– Bring hydration… water is suggested or whatever you like to drink. Small coolers are allowed.
– This tour has a minimum participant number of 4 people. If you are not booking for 4 or more people and additional people do not book for this tour you may need to be rescheduled. You will be contacted by phone and email if there is a scheduling problem.

Hooked on SUP joins the Ocean Hour International Clean Up

(1st Saturday monthly)

Ocean Clean Up

The world’s first international weekly cleanup, Ocean Hour leverages social media and technology to crowdsource cleanups around the globe on a weekly basis.  The first Saturday, each month, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., no matter where you are on this planet, the Ocean Hour community will head to local beaches, rivers, lakes, and waterways around the globe to clean up trash and marine debris. We realize you can’t make it to every cleanup, but with social media and our ability to mobilize the masses, our impact is powerful even if only 10% of our community shows up on any given month. As our network continues to grow, our influence will thrive exponentially with larger turnouts each month.  Whether you can make it once a month, or once a year, we invite you to join us in this movement. Every single one of us can make a difference; start the month off right and spend an hour giving back to the ocean and the waterways we love to paddle! Call for reservations. Experience is required for paddle boards.
