Contact Form

The information we collect from the contact form consists of all the information you enter. We use the submitted information to process and respond to your contact request.

However, we may hold on to your information until we receive a request for erasure, at which point we will delete or anonymize your information. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

For security reasons and to protect this website from spam, your data will be processed in the CleanTalk Cloud Service and they will be stored in log files for 7 days. On the expiry of the mentioned period, they will be deleted completely. CleanTalk may use information of spam activity of IP/email addresses to offer proper anti-spam protection to all websites connected to its service. It concerns exclusively those IP/email addresses that are being used for spam mailing.

3rd Party Providers that Store and Process Your Data

  • Our website is hosted through SiteGround (SG Hosting Inc.). The data you provide in form submissions as well as your IP address will be stored in the website’s database in order to allow us to process your request. Furthermore, SiteGround holds a server log of all website visits to help with security and diagnostics. The server log contains the visitor’s IP address but no information like name, phone number or email address.
  • An automated backup of our website is stored on Google Drive.
  • We use widgets hosted by TripAdvisor to display our TripAdvisor reviews and our Certificates of Excellence. TripAdvisor may add tracking functionality to their widgets. They or other companies they partner with are able use this data to show you personalized ads. To hide personalized advertisement, clear your cookies (see below). You may also go to the Opt-Out page of the Network Advertising Initiative to further control personalized advertisement. Bookeo and PayPal

We use Bookeo to allow you to book kayak or stand up paddleboard tours and classes online or to purchase a gift card. During the booking process, besides your address and contact information, we ask for each participant’s gender, date of birth and whether the participant is over 6 ft or 240 lbs. We use this information to determine the most suitable equipment. The payment for your Bookeo order is handled by PayPal. PayPal collects, processes and stores your payment information and but does not give us or Bookeo access to your credit/debit card number or bank account. Google Analytics

This website is like millions of other websites using Google Analytics to gather information about site visitors and their behavior. We use Google Analytics to get an idea for:

  • how many visits our website gets
  • how visitors found our website
  • in which content they are interested
  • how long they stay on our website and on each individual page
  • what region they are from
  • what type of computer hardware and internet software they are using
  • and similar details

However, we do not send any additional personally identifiable information to Google Analytics and we do not merge submitted personal information from the contact form on this website with data from Google Analytics. The collected information is used only for statistics, which help us evaluate our website’s performance. User-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is set to be automatically deleted from Google’s servers after 26 months.

Furthermore, to protect our visitors’ privacy we request that Google anonymize each visitor’s IP address.

Facebook Comments Plugin

Below blog posts, we offer the ability for you to write and publish a comment. Any entered information will be public. This feature is provided by Facebook and requires you to be logged into your Facebook account. Besides your comment, your Facebook profile photo, your name and other information such as your job title and employer’s name might be displayed. Any data entered is not stored by our website but by Facebook. You can remove your comments any time by clicking on your comment, clicking on the dropdown arrow and then on “Delete Comment”.
